Need help with Wiring.

Hi there, I need some help with wiring. I have a air/fuel gauge that I want to install but I can't seen to find the O2 sensor wire on the ECU. I have the ep82 diagram with me and it points to the wire 10, which I believe falls on a solid black wire, the forth one from left to right...

I connected the gauge o2 sensor wire to this one on the pic, and the car died after a few seconds... Please help.

The O2 sensor that comes standard from our cars are narrow band sensors.

What you need to do is keep that sensor, but add another one, however add a WideBand sensor. This will then give you the correct reading.

Do a search on google for the difference in sensors and you will see why.
