Top speed

Is there a top speed limiter in an ep91? If so how is it removed?

I don't know if the UK Starlets are the same as ours but in Oz we are speed limited to 180kmh (actual speed not indicated speed as the speedo reads higher at that speed - about 195 indicated).

To remove it you'll need either a "Speed Cut Defencer" or an aftermarket "stand alone" computer.

Worry about having enough power to hit the speed cut before you worry about having to remove it - I don't think you'd get there with a 4EFE without driving it off a cliff:) . 4EFTE will get there fairly easy though.

Last time I hit it I thought it was the boost cut cutting in but after thinking about it a bit more I realised what it was as I wasn't using full boost at the time :)

i dont think anyone can tell you if the ADM ep91 is speed limited by the ECU (although a doubt it) because as hillclimber said, you simply cant go that fast :P

the 4efe engine speed limiter ukspec or jdm,neway jdm disconnect de speedo presto no limiter..4efte wont work
