I tried posting it in the wheel and tire forum but it wouldn't let me.

I just bought a Glanza S from a friend who was PCSing. It has original wheels and all it needs is new tires. So I went to a junkyard and bought a set of rims by Tomei for $150. I tried googling them for more info but couldn't find much about them other then:

Made in Japan
Size = 15 x 6.5jj
Offset = 43
PCD = 100 & 114.3

Now I need to buy new tires so I can pass my JCI. I was wondering which size of tire would work.

Here is what they look like(Mine I painted Black):

I'd go with 195/50/15 or if you really want some extra pep, 195/45/15.

Use these sizes.

195/50/15 - street use
195/55/15 - semi slicks/full slicks

Sweet thx. I guess I will buy them next paycheck. I just put in a JL Audio 12W3v3 sub connected to a Alpine MRD-M605 amp today.

*shakes head*
subs and amps are heavy. Stick to radio deck and a 4" speaker. :) Weight reduction is your friend! hehe

They may be heavy, but on a small island(Okinawa) where the avg Speed Limits are 40Khm, 60 Khm on general roads and 80Khm on the expressway im not going to be doing high speeds too often.

So instead im going for looks, aka upgraded sound system , new head/brake lights, rims, Carbon fiber hood/spoiler, underbody lights, bucket seats, new steering wheel, and a fresh paint job.

Then When I ship it to the states everybody will be in awe, because they probably have never seen a Starlet before.

I happen to think the Starlet is one of the better looking hatchback's I have seen.
