Hi there, Just hoping someone can help me, im fitting a replacement engine to my Glanza Turbo 1999, and am stuck with two hoses. They are attached to the steering rack, to what i assume is a small valve, im not sure what this does though i feel it may have a similar function to a power steering sensor?? Anyway, i cant find where these 2 small hoses go after fitting my new engine, as i dont seem to have anywhere to put them? Anyone know where they go or if there is a difference in some of the engines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Jonny

Didn't expect someone so close to home on here?
Here's what I can find amongst my research:

Those pipes connect the power steering rack to the vacuum system of the engine. I can remember I had to block them off on my trackcar as it doesn't have powersteering.
Hope that helps,
Jay

Thanks very much, thats just what i needed, thought they were vacuum pipes after a better look! In honesty, its not my glanza, its my mates, i just didnt want to waste time with technicality! Although ive done so much work on it now it feels like mine. lol Ive learnt so much about glanza's this past few months you wouldnt believe it. Your not a hounds goul away as they say! But thanks again for your help, the diagram really is fantastic!
All the best,
Jonny
Glad to assist mate, I have a fleet of local starlets that I work on regularly. I've seen parts of them I don't want to see again!
If he needs anything just say the word.
Cheers,
Jay
