Gearbox Ratios for the most common Starlet Engines


Below is a SpecSheet for the most common manual gearboxes that will bolt up to the 4E and 5E blocks.

Everything highlighted in BLUE defines what is standard throughout the gearboxes.
Everything in Yellow defines the differences compared to the other gearboxes.

Below are included calculated graphs of the C52 and C56 gearboxes in various configurations. Note that the below graphs are Calculated values. Since travelling resistance occurs, these values differ from actual data, none-the-less they are still relative.

C52 combinations
Standard C52 as seen in an EP82 Starlet:

c52(black) vs. c56(red) You can see the difference the 3rd and 4th gears make to the acceleration of the EP91.

can you do a C56 with 4.312 final drive (as from the AE111 5spd box?)

also there are C52's with 4.312 final drives (AE101 and ??? boxes)
