    Default worn camshafts

i have an 1999 ep91 life 4efe with 75000k on it. i checked the valve clearances the other day and noticed weird wear i think on the camshafts. its on the sides of the ramp and on the sides of the tip of the lobe. is this normal from when it was made. dodgy batch or some thing or am i up 4 a new set.

Yes i have 3 different sets of standard cams 4E-FE, 4E-FTE and 5E-FHE and all have small chips out of the lobes. As long as it has not taken the top of the lobe or something like that it is all good. No need to worry.
