i believe it was designed as part of a blitz upgrade kit, with new turbo and other parts

if you could find some info on the blitz kit you might have a better idea on what spec the ECU map is to suit. also remember it will be to suit JDM fuel, which is likely to be higher octane than you will get in california

The Blitz Access comes as 3 basic types: Access, Access II and Access R. All three can be reprogrammed for specific functions by Blitz but the basic data is for use with the 3 Blitz kits, the K1-200v, the k24, and the k26. The Access removes fuel cut, speed cut, increases rev limiter to 8000rpm and is programmed to 19psi. It can run basic EP upgrades up to the K1-200v. It can support more mods but would need help. Mine works fine, had it for years. Getting ready to add an Emanage to it. The Access is designed to work on 100-octane for maximum performance, but we have 90 here in Jamaica and it works fine with no problems.

Don't know. I'm going by the manual I had for my Access. Serial number or if they wrote the type on the lablel like they did they reprogrammed my friends Access.

No, they were optional extras for various turbo kits. However if you had any version you could get that one reprogrammed to any other version. My friend had an AE111 Blitz Turbo kit and that used a AccessR because it came with a big K27 turbocharger. If you get the Blitz Powerbook catalog it should be in there.
