    Default Turbo map-sensor on 4E-FE

Hello! I'm planning to turbo my JDM Gi 4E-FE and already found almost all parts for that, but still have 1 question. Can I use turbo setup with 4E-FE ECU + 4E-FTE MAP-sensor and will it work? If not - can I solve this problem with Apexi SAFC? Thanks for advices in advance...
    From Russia with love...

P.S. I'm not planning to go ito space on this setup, just want to get some more power from it

no a 4E-FE ecu wont work very wel, beacause its not adapted too the FTE map sensor it just cant see the boost...

U would wel use a programable ecu for best results , like a Emanage with the map sensor that goes with the set

You need a 4efte (or aftermarket computer) and their supporting wiring as they differ to the 4EFE wiring.

Thanks for your advices! If I will setup Emanage blue with map sensor - will it give me a result? I have already heard that Emanage is a good way to go - but nobody says why...
I have a dilemma - I have a stock CT9 turbo and some SR20DET Power Enterprise turbo - so I don't know which one to install - cause I'm afraid that my pistons and AT will fail on boost (though I'm planning to boost not higher than 0,6 bar at this time)

yea its a fairly precise way of adjusting the fualing and ignition tables, make sure you have the right supporting harnises if your going for the blue or the ultimate,

and stick with the ct9 the now if you dont want to fabrcate a different manifold, downpipe, oil and waterlines for your other turbo.

also remember that the sr20 turbo is made for a 2.0 litere engine and wil probably cause turbo lag on your 1.3 engine

And the sr20 turbo would probably blow ur FE too pieces on some higher boost

hi gtplanet. how did your car turn out in the end? i'm planning a very similar setup in my own EP91 4E-FE Starlet and was wondering if you have any pointers or can tell me about any difficulties you ran into in the proccess. i'm a beginner when it comes to installing turbos and aftermarket ECUs but i've got to learn sometime and here is a good place to start i'd say.
    cheers
