Hello everyone,
Just thought as I have just signed up I would say G'Day and say that I am a new comer to these Starlets but have a history of messing around with Dato's and Alto's.
I have a 96 Group X Starlet that I wish to Motorkhana in local events so hopefully it should be good fun. Has a little bit more power than the Alto I'm used to racing. 550cc compared to 1332cc. Only 150mm longer and wider and about 150kg heavier. Should be great to flick around the cones and markers on the tracks.
If anyone here does Motorkhanas with their Starlets and might want to drop a few helpful tips it would be great.

The starlets are great for it! Is it a dedicated car or will it be road car too?

It will be a road car. I am going to look at a half cut next week for it though and after talking to the motor rego people it is an allowable engine conversion for SA so rego will only require a roadworthy.

I will try and find out just how straight forward they are to swap. I have been cruising through the posts on here to try and find out as much as I can.
